HACCP Food Safety

Our HACCP training is essential for professionals working in the hospitality and retail industry, or anyone else that produces, handles, retail or distributes consumable products.

We provide HACCP level 1, 2 and 3 courses that are designed to meet the requirements of the "Food Safety Authority of Ireland" (www.fsai.ie).

Certification: successful students will receive a Certificate in Food Safety - HACCP valid for 2 years, and in line with Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI). The certificate is issued by a qualified trainer certified in Management of Food Hygiene & HACCP.

Course overview

We offer three levels of HACCP Food Safety Trainings:

Level 01

Induction Skills, Awareness Course – Understand the legislation and importance around food hygiene, how to identify food safety hazards and understand proper waste management and cleaning procedures.

Level 02

Additional Skills, Fundamentals of HACCP Understanding their requirements under Irish food safety legislation as well as following best work practices.

Level 03

Food Safety & HACCP for Management – for Managers, Supervisors or Owners of Food businesses.

Level 1 specifies the standards expected of employees who have been working for less than three months in your business and Level 2 describes the standards expected of those who have been working for more than three months.

Level 1 is a legal requirement for all food handling staff, Level 2 is for those who occupy roles that include food handling and food preparation.

Importance and legal requirements of HACCP Food Safety

Food business operators are legally obliged to put in place and maintain a system based on Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) principles. Our HACCP Trainings  provide learners with the skills and practical knowledge to implement an effective HACCP system in the workplace, in accordance with EU Regulation (EC) No 852/2004 which lays down general rules for food business operators on the hygiene of foodstuffs.
